Welcome to the Guru Gobind Singh Gurdwara in Bradford. The Gurdwara — meaning "House of God" — is the Sikh place of worship. It serves as both a sacred space for spiritual reflection and a cultural learning centre for all generations.
Guru Gobind Singh Gurdwara was the first of its kind in Bradford. Since its opening, it has remained a symbol of unity, service, and devotion.
The Gurdwara is open to everyone. In Sikhism, equality is a core value — reflected in the tradition of all worshippers sitting together on the carpeted floor of the Diwan Hall. Visitors are kindly reminded to dress modestly, remove their shoes, and keep their heads covered while inside the Gurdwara as a sign of respect.
We’ve outlined these practices and additional information to ensure that all visitors feel welcomed and informed during their visit.
